These courses are specifically designed to provide beginners with a solid foundation in firearm safety, handling, and basic shooting skills as well as provide a safe and dynamic range experience for our advanced shooters. Our instructors will work closely with you to ensure a personalized and effective learning experience. By taking these individualized or group courses, you can focus on developing the essential skills and confidence needed to handle and operate pistols safely.

During the private one-on-one Basic Courses for Pistol you will receive dedicated attention from our instructors, allowing for tailored instruction and ample time for questions and clarification. The courses will cover fundamental concepts, including firearm safety protocols, basic firearm operation and maintenance, shooting fundamentals, and range etiquette. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with different types of pistols and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

The Advanced Pistol course is designed to elevate the skills and proficiency of experienced pistol shooters who seek to further enhance their abilities in tactical shooting scenarios. This intensive training program focuses on refining marksmanship, honing defensive shooting techniques, and developing advanced tactical skills necessary for real-world scenarios.

Prerequisites:
Basic Pistol - No prior firearms experience is required to enroll in this course. It is open to individuals of all skill levels who are interested in developing their firearm safety and advanced shooting skills.

Advanced Pistol - Participants must have prior pistol shooting experience. They should demonstrate a solid understanding of firearm safety rules, basic marksmanship principles, and foundational shooting techniques. If you are new to pistols our Basic Pistol course is recommended first.
Note: This course can physically demanding and mentally challenging. Participants should be prepared for significant periods of physical activity and mental focus on our dynamic shoot and move field. Safety will be strictly enforced throughout the course, and all participants are expected to adhere to range safety protocols and guidelines.

Course Objectives:

Safety First: The course places paramount emphasis on firearm safety. Participants will learn and practice fundamental safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and transportation of firearms.

Firearms Basics: Participants will gain a solid understanding of firearm terminology, components, and operation. This foundational knowledge will enable them to confidently handle and operate pistols or rifles.

Shooting Fundamentals: The course provides a comprehensive overview of shooting fundamentals, including grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and breathing techniques. Students will have ample opportunity for hands-on practice and personalized guidance from our experienced instructors.

Firearm Selection: Understanding that every woman has unique needs and preferences, the course will cover the selection criteria for pistols and rifles, including factors such as size, weight, caliber, and purpose. Participants will receive guidance on choosing the firearm that best suits their individual requirements.

Practical Shooting Skills: Participants will be introduced to various shooting scenarios and engage in practical exercises designed to enhance their shooting accuracy, speed, and decision-making abilities. This includes shooting from different positions, shooting on the move, and engaging multiple targets.

Advanced Techniques: The course will explore advanced shooting techniques, such as rapid fire, shooting from cover and shooting on the move. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their skill set and learn strategies to handle challenging situations effectively.

Self-Defense Applications: The course will address the use of firearms as a self-defense tool. Participants will learn legal and ethical considerations surrounding self-defense, situational awareness and threat assessment. Simulated scenarios will allow students to practice applying their skills in real-life situations.

Maintenance and Cleaning: Participants will receive instruction on proper firearm maintenance and cleaning procedures, ensuring their firearms remain in optimal working condition and prolonging their lifespan.

Legal and Ethical Considerations: The course will cover legal regulations and requirements related to firearm ownership, concealed carry permits (where applicable), and the responsibilities of gun owners. Ethical considerations, responsible firearm storage, and discussions on promoting a safe and supportive firearms community will also be addressed.

Women's Community Building: This course aims to foster a supportive community of women interested in firearms. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and build relationships that extend beyond the training environment.

Required Equipment:

PISTOL COURSE ONLY - Semi-Automatic Pistol: Participants are required to bring a reliable, modern semi-automatic pistol for the training. Common choices may include Glock, Smith & Wesson M&P, Sig Sauer, or other similar models. The pistol should be in excellent working condition, properly maintained, and suitable for the course objectives. Pistol Magazines: Participants are required to bring at least two pistol magazines to facilitate uninterrupted training. The magazines should be compatible with the participant's pistol and in proper working condition.

RIFLE COURSE ONLY - Semi-Automatic Rifle: Participants should bring a reliable, modern semi-automatic rifle suitable for the course. This could include popular models like the AR-15, AK-47, or similar platforms. The firearm should be in good working condition, properly maintained, and appropriate for the course objectives. Rifle Magazines: Each participant should have at two rifle magazines to ensure efficient training without constant reloading. Magazines should be compatible with the participant's specific firearm and in good working condition.

Clothing: Participants are required to wear appropriate clothing for the range environment. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory to ensure safety, while comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing is recommended.

Ear & Eye Protection: To protect hearing and eyesight, all participants must have proper ear and eye protection. This can include earmuffs, earplugs, or both, along with safety glasses or goggles. These are available at most ranges for rental or purchases.

Ammunition: Each participant should bring 100 rounds of reliable and appropriate ammunition for their rifle and/or pistol.

Tactical Gear - Holster, Sling, and Magazine Pouches: a pistol holster, rifle sling, and magazine pouches are helpful for proper equipment management during training. Magazine pouches should allow quick and easy access to magazines. (This Equipment is Optional)
